There’s something sensual about food. Perhaps it satisfies one of our basic appetites whilst stimulating another. Rude food nude. A collection of nude women and food.
Maybe it is just that the shapes found in nature mirror one another confirming that our bodies are part of the natural order.
On the other hand we can just be downright silly with it
