Spanish Girl using painter Essentials 5
This sexy Spanish girl was photographed on film many years ago. I decided to try an recreate an image similar to the popular paintings seen in Woolworths and similar stores in the 1970s.
Created in Corel Painter Essentials 5 this painting is from an original retouched scan. I created a pastel auto painting and there then followed a lot of blending and soft charcoal work. To find out more watch Thomas Churchwell’s video on YouTube
The original photograph was scanned from a 6×4.5cm colour transparency
I am still experimenting with this process using Painter Essentials.
